245/40R17 tire fitment rear only

Hi, I have grip problem specially Full throttle 2nd gear and sometimes 3rd gear.
I have 235/40R17 at this moment but there is more softer compound tires 245/40R17.
I want to change rear only.
I need to know; without fender roll 245 will fit rear without rubbing?
I have 8x17 Advanti storm S1 offset 45 wheels
Thanks in advance 🙂

If you have a Lusso or a Classica without the TPMS sensors in the wheel, you must use the same size tire and wheel on both front and rear otherwise the tire warning siren and light will activate.

This is 255/40 on 17x9 +45 all around. Fenders are rolled. Rears never really rubbed unless under high speeds where I hit a quick drop. They fit inside the fender otherwise. So my guess would be they don't but I don't know exactly, but Goodwin has a bit of a tire guide on their site where he suggests wheel and tire combos and whether or not they work with the stock height vs. fender roll. I found that pretty helpful when I was first deciding.

Do you have spacers as well? They seem awful flush for a 45 offset

How the **** does a 255 not rub even with a fender roll and aggressive camber?

Yeah should've read more carefully. So did you need to roll the front? The feel as if they are allready rolled

Oh boy is this a loaded question for me lol I was answering on Juan’s behalf only because we have the same wheels . But now I have the same issue on hand except the tires I picked up although say they are a 255, in Rality they run wide and are a 265. I’m on that same wheel , have pulled and rolled today. Raised and stiffened suspension. Although it got a lot better under heavy load corners and bumps it’s scraping . This is going to be fun

Do 245/45/16 tires fit on the Advanti Storm S1 16x8 wheels? Curious. They are just $125 on tire rack.
