No SiriusXM Access

So just picked up my new 2018 124 Spider (out of state) with the technology package. I do not have access to XM on the input menu. I can see it, but cannot select it. No response from dealer yet. Has anyone seen this?

The dealer has to notify XM of the sale date to start the one year subscription.

You should be able to select it. If it has XM, but no subscription, then it should tune to Channel 1 preview station with a telephone number to call to subscribe. It does have the XM antenna on the trunk, right?

Right, that is what I was thinking. However, cannot select XM on the input - that is the issue.

To confirm, you do have that "shark fin" looking antenna on the top of your trunk, correct? If you do, you have a Sirius/XM antenna installed, which means that theoretically there should also be a Sirius/XM receiver unit installed as well. I didn't see you reply to confirm if you have the antenna or not.

As SJWhitely has noted, even without an active subscription, you would still pull signal on Channel 1, which is their preview and advertising channel that provides a feature overview and guidance on how to purchase a subscription. My ungrounded assessment (having not seen the back of your vehicle) is that you don't have XM Radio hardware installed in the vehicle.
