Can you update this to the new version of the video player included in the Mazda 2.8.3 version? I'm not sure at what point they upgraded it, but it's now at v3 instead of v2.

I've never tried out the video player myself, but since that tweak is Fiat/Mazda neutral, just use the Mazda AIO, if you prefer that version. The goal of the Fiat AIO was to address unique Fiat characteristics, and once I knew the package was stable and reliable, I've intentionally left my package alone.

I borrowed tweaks from the Mazda AIO, and that is how I got into trouble introducing the ftp counter, that I later had to fix

I wish someone could make it so that the "124 abarth spider and view of the car that comes up on startup could be made to stay on except when the nav or backup cam are engaged.

You can put your audio in AUX mode and display whatever background you like

So the Mazda AIO still works? I totally misunderstood this, thought it stopped working up to your version. I'll give it a go and report back.

Thanks

off topic

As the author of Fiat tweaks and the person that started this thread, I'm posting in the off-chance that a reader here may know of a source for tweaking the uConnect 8.4, as not being able to enter a destination into the system while driving is really a major letdown. I kept hearing that the uConnect is the best infotainment system out there, but I sure encountered some flaws and letdowns this weekend.

Is there a way for the screen to go to XM or radio station information on start up, or does it always have to go to the main options screen? So annoying.

XM doesn't obtain a signal quick enough to boot to that screen, but FM will boot to the the radio screen, if that was the displayed screen when shutdown. In fact, all of the other entertainment screens will do that.

I'm in this thread a bit late, but it looks interesting. Is there a short version of what this gets me and how it works?
