Received the unit today in the post (Approx two weeks to Australia)

I have downloaded the software and updated that, when I plug in the unit to the PC to update it fails. Anyone awake that might be able to help with this issue?

So keen to get this installed before the holidays.

Thanks

Greg

Hi Benardos, I'll try to help.

Let me make sure I understand, It sounds like you are stuck on Step 4 or 5 of the instructions. This is most commonly caused by a firewall on the computer. Is there any chance you have one that is active? Toby has been emailed, but he won't be in for another 5 hours or so.

Agreed. Sounds like firewall or anti-virus getting pesky and preventing the download.

Waiting on my P1/P2 tune. Looks like a few extra steps for Toby as it is a 2019 model.

A couple of questions:
1) if I have just requested P1/P2 dual setup will I get P2 or P2+?
2) as I have easy access to 93 gas and that is all I put in my 124 how much difference does it make to the tune if requesting it for 93 rather than the standard 91?

Thanks

Sorry I missed this. I think Phase 2+ is the standard now, and we are just calling it Phase 2. I hesitate to say that for sure as stuff gets re-indexed and I am not always the first to know.

Specifying 93 only makes a very slight difference.

Hi klikai, I am moving your post here because it was somewhere not relevant to the topic, and I felt you deserve an answer.

There is a fair amount to unpack here. First of all, our mixtures are safe and certainly do not run lean. We state this in a number of locations and we have quite a bit of AFR data posted for this car.

Obviously it's not reasonable to expect us to monitor and respond to everything a competitor says. In this case, I haven't seen these statements. A failure to respond to a competitor's statement should not be interpreted as an agreement. Now, if someone, meaning a customer, or forum member has a specific question, or brings up a specific point as you did here, I'll be glad to address it, but I am certainly not going to start monitoring the competition and responding every single time they say something that's not true. I don't have time for that, nor the interest in it. In this case, yes, I am denying that our tunes run lean, in fact, that's just ridiculous. If it was true we would be seeing blown engines all over the place.

Greg

P.S. we do put up videos of AFR data from time to time. Generally we don't show proprietary stuff, but some of it may be of interest.

@klikai , I want your response to the evidence provided above, and furthermore, since you made these statements entirely based on what you heard from Tork, entirely based on their perceived credibility and then passed it off as fact, I also want you to resolve for the differences in what Greg has posted and what Tork has claimed and either justify your position or acknowledge correction.
