Heritage stripe painting?

Cheers 124 nation!
Anyone have any painting done to their Abarth like a heritage stripe hood and trunk?
Mainly looking at a white Abarth but curious to know what that would be like since i love the white and black two tone.

3M Vinyl Wrap is sooooo much easier and cheaper. I had my whole car wrapped in Satin Vampire Red and Black Heritage Stripe for $300 more than just the stripe cost from Fiat. When it gets dinged up on the nose, you just have it pulled off and redone.

When I ordered my 2017 Abarth, I really wanted the Heritage Stripe, but it wasn't available. (It wasn't available early on because Fiat hadn't figured out who was going to paint it here in the US)

I am really glad I didn't get it. It's a matte paint and it can be a pain to take care of. It is very easy to screw it up when you clean it. I live in a wooded area on a dirt road, I am sure I would have destroyed the stripe cleaning tree sap off it!

I think that a wrap is probably a good idea, and probably a lot less work to take care of.

I wound up leaving the hood bare. With all the red bits, I actually like it better without the stripe.

I intentionally didn't check the option box for the Heritage "stripe", because to me that's not a "stripe", but painted body parts (hood and trunk). I also have a white Abarth, and had a local tint and vinyl wrap shop add these two "stripes" instead.

As others have said, if you want to add the stripe a wrap is the way to go. Easier, cheaper, and reversible if you change your mind

Having said that, I do have the factory Heritage Stripe and mine is still flawless. I just wanted to point this out since many people make it sound as if it's a disaster waiting to happen. All I've ever done with it is to use dedicated cleaners and protectants. The Dr. Beasley's stuff works very well.

No lie there! Base colors of white or black leave all kinds of wrap colors to the imagination...

Thanks for the compliment! I went with a "tri-colore" theme with the car, thus the green and red stripes, green and red mirror caps, tri-color strut tower bar, some small Italian flags on the front fenders, the rear tail light inserts painted tri-colors, etc. Just enough to break up all that white! I've posted a bunch of pics in this website, but here's a few for your viewing pleasure, and maybe get some ideas!
