What most people perceive as turbo lag is actually turbo threshold. Countless magazine review articles have referenced this point by doing a drag race with the cars in 6th gear. Silly, in my opinion.
Yeah, a turbo motor “off boost” doesn’t produce much power-I dunno why this is such a tough concept for some “experts” to grasp. My Spider runs great-yes, you can’t lug it and have power. Who cares?
I should get a good video of my tach and boost gauge. If I'm rolling at 3k rpm and mash the throttle, it's almost instant full boost. It's amazing how quickly it spools.
