Very informative. Wish I could get a better angle at the sway bar, though. I want the Karcepts bar, but heard it won't clear our stock intercooler piping.

Tim, here's a conversation between myself and Brian Karwan over on the Miata Forum prior to my Karcepts install. He posts a couple of pictures that shows what you'll be facing with the stock intercooler piping. You can clearly see the stock intercooler piping mounting bolts obstruct the space the bar needs to slide through. Fortunately, I have the EC piping but I can tell you even with the EC piping the install was not easy. There must be a slight difference between our car and the Miata because it did not just drop in.

That's a huuuuge help! Thank you! Looks like I might not be able to use the Karcepts bar, which essentially means there's no way I could trophy at nationals with this car. I cannot take that bolt out per stock class rules :( At least it gives me incentive to fix the Escort?

Nah. Bump up a class and go crazy modifying the 124. You're a good enough driver.

I refuse to go crazy modding my daily driver. Stock class only! I'm way better with the Escort, anyway...trust me!
