I've heard the Miata may get 2 engine options, now I wonder if the 50/50 will hold true for both models. As I said in the other thread if FIAT uses their 1.4T will the plumbing required throw off the balance?

Most definitely...but maybe the Fiat engineers can balance the "plumbing" around and make it close to 50/50

I dont know how much wiggle room they have. It still has to be efficient to manufacture with the MX-5. if the two are to share an assembly line maybe its a mazda motor after all
