I would agree that your Fiat dealership had some seriously unprofessional staff. However, of the $2,500 in repairs that you cited, they're responsible for $140 of it. I'm not trying to defend the dealership, but again it is about perspective. Most of your expenses were for tire replacement and associated alignments if I recall correctly.

I really hope that a suspension specialist can validate and correct the problem. I enjoy my Spider every time I drive it. I hope you get to the point that you can experience that joy.

Literally that's all I've said and been asking from them since I found the bent part 12 days ago. That's it. I don't know where the alternative dialog is coming from. Until I found the bent control arm, yes they were expected to diagnose the issue properly (especially after acknowledging the issue and asking me to bring it back) but instead decided it was normal for the car to roll straight under no load, left under power, and right when letting off. Now I know it's a bent part so they owe me the $140 spent on the wrenching of the bent part they claimed was perfect. That's it.

At no point have I said they owe me $2,500 or that they should fix any of these parts under warranty now that I've discovered the bent suspension. They owe me for the alignment they performed after misdiagnosing the vehicle.

It's been observed in a few posts that it's time to move on. I'm going to close this thread and perhaps in the future we'll see a fresh thread on the end game. Maybe somebody a fiat will care.
best regards,
Pete
