So I quote:

"Pricing starts at €40,000 for all Europe. North American pricing and availability haven't been announced, but the price converts to $43,330, £30,810 or AU$59,675."

Not sure how accurate that is but that is the rumor that is going around. $43k US would be about 8K too high for this car to legitimately compete on the market.

I don't think it's going to be 40k, and least not as a base price. Simply calculating the price based on European prices and currency conversions usually doesn't work. I think it's going to be higher than a Miata, but not much.

Yup, it's almost never a direct comparison in price. You almost have to not look at the difference in price and instead what value it provides to you in comparison to what else is out there on the market since it will vary from market (country) to market

I don't think it'll sell for $40k. I'm thinking in the range of $33k - $36k sounds right. Often companies will price things cheaper in the US because it is so competitive but also one of the largest markets.
