Have to say Honda lost touch back in 2000 when the 4th gen, B16A2, wishbone front suspension ended. Fortunately, my all matching panels and engine 2500 lbs coupe is still rolling with 344000 miles and boosted to 248whp, 175 wheel torque. Ok, a few rebuilds along the way.
It looks good next the white 124 Abarth.

Disagree ...... maybe on a "numbers" assessment but as for the "fun factor" - hard to beat

Still rate my A5oo as more "fun" than my A124. Cannot say why, it just is> Even after 6 and half years I still look at her and think..."Phoaw, you are looking hawt today !!)

TBH if the A124 was a not a convertible I very probably would not have purchased it
Completely agree on the fun factor (I drive a Spider after all), but 300hp seems to be where the bar’s at at the moment.

I had a 2000 Honda Prelude with a JRSC. Loved that car. I really don’t understand what happened to Honda after 2001.

I had one of those too. The SH ATTS version. It still rates in the top 4 cars I’ve ever owned over 43 years of car ownership. A truly under appreciated classic and probably the best handling car I’ve owned.
