Very simple, email Fiat and let them know how disappointed you are that the 500 has the Abarth emblem and not the Spider, Europe and Australia has it(I think)

When they get lots of dissatisfied email maybe they can send us one for free.

my seats don't have the Abarth written on it.

In Aus we get the Abarth steering wheel badge, engine cover, fender badges and Abarth on the seats. It has to be a "branding" decision for North America.
Disclaimer, this is probably an illegal and life threatening modification. DO NOT DO THIS!

Or you can take your own road...

You can always do your own badging on the cubby lid, easily removable with a heat gun if you want to experiment. I'm trying out this little guy (the EU's embroidered logo seats and huge heritage plaque are a bit overdone for me).

Other ideas for the cubby would be the chrome "124Spider" badge from the trunk lid, or the red, chrome, or black scorpion. The Abarth side fender badge might look good there too.

It's a US airbag deal my dealer said. The abarth version that is safe to explode and tattoo on your forehead has not been developed yet. :( I did get the side badging from madness...looks pretty good!

I did complain and the customer service of FCA called to say sorry we have no solution :-(. which means they are taking all NA Abarth fans for suckers !

Even if they change it in the new production, we will not get it as the whole airbag needs to be changed....I do not believe you can get only a cover change (still researching on this).

I hope to be able to buy a full unit from Europe or other country......if anyone willing to point me to a dealer in Europe or worldwide that would sell me the airbag with the proper emblem....let me now.

This is the airbag page on the Abarth catalogue.
It did not mention the cover at all, the airbag part code should be600061564, but I don't know the price

I maybe crazy, but not that crazy to spent all that money to get the whole airbag thing so the Emblem is Abarth, I think if they have an aluminum Abarth sticker like the other poster has done, I would go that way.

I thought the Fiat Emblem was just a sticker.

On Ebay they sell a set of 4 Abarth Emblem. for 5.50 free shipping. I think its these he used.

form the research I have done...all emblems on airbags are not stick on but riveted due to the explosive nature of the deployment.....ie, the emblem has to be strong fitted to sustain the blow and not become a missile.....I am not sure I can get the cover only.....anyone has more experience in airbags

If it blows, who cares if the sticker stays on?? It's not like they're going to repackage it. ;)

Got mine from here; http://www.ebay.com/itm/4X-Fit-ABARTH-Scorption-WHEEL-CAPs-Alloy-EMBLEM-Badges-Stickers-56mm-NEW-3D-/142071842988?hash=item21142448ac:g:7v4AAOSwTZ1XnpBC&vxp=mtr

Used a black sharpie around the circumference to darken the aluminum and then stuck it right on top of the FIAT badge. The stick on is curved on the back, not flat like most stickers. Hard to get a clear picture at night...

Thanks....looks nice....will have to seriously think about it....
If you decide to give it a try, remember that they are pretty cheap, so some will be better centered than others and there is the typical clear peel off layer on top.
I was a rather die hard Abarth steering wheel emblem fan, but now that I've had the car for a few days I'm getting used to the red Fiat badge. The color of the badge pops nicely with the red tachometer and my red seats.

I still might go with an aftermarket Abarth badge at some point, but I want to allay my safety concerns, along the lines of Canabarth's post.

I call bollox. The airbag is exactly the same part, just with a different badge on the cover.
