Two dealers called in today saying their systems will update on Monday and both are expecting 4 or 5. (Holt Fiat and Fiat Dallas)

Looks like they're finally filing in?? Can't wait to finally test drive one

So two separate Dallas dealers took the initiative to call you, to inform you that they are expecting 4-5 Abarths, which should be confirmed on computers Monday? Crossing my fingers. Rumor has it that they arrived at the Baltimore port 2-3 weeks ago. I wonder if any were shipped to the San Diego port, near my neck of the woods.

Well one called me (holt fiat) because I asked the salesman to contact me when he heard more info about the Abarths. After he called me, I texted the Dallas dealership salesman and he said they are also getting the Abarths too, but he wasn't going to contact people until systems updated on Monday. Tomorrow Ill contact them both again to see what info they have exactly.

So the Dallas Fiat got back to me and said they will be getting in 5 Abarths within the next two weeks.

1. Red - Manual/Black cloth
2. Red - Auto/Black-red leather/Lux package
3. Silver - Manual/Black leather/Lux package

5. Black - Manual/Black leather/ Lux package

Nope, because that auto is the exact combination I'm shooting for. I wonder if it has the brembo breaks and what the logistics of me driving down to dallas and picking it up are ?

Rep said all units will not come with heritage stripe or brembo brakes. The first batch atleast.

Also I made a mistake, fiat Mckinney is the dealership with these cars.. Not fiat Dallas.. Don't know how I messed that up!

I really want the Brembo's. Curious as to whether the rotors would be the same as in the base car. I wonder if the rep was just referring to the McKinney dealership shipment lacking the Brembo's, and not the entire nation.

I'd love to see a photo of the dash. Wondering if the steering wheel has the red leather tach stripe and the Abarth badge in the horn center (versus the Fiat badge). I've heard a rumor that we won't be getting the alcantara trim.

I really want the Brembo's.

You may want to consider the aftermarket packages. For less money you can upgrade all 4 wheels, not just the front 2 with Wilwood's which are 6 pistons vs. 4. They are also pretty light.

I am wondering those things as well. I really like that red leather stripe on the steering wheel, but based on press photos, I don't think we are getting it.

Might be because there are several in the DFW area. I bought mine from Holt Fiat in Hurst (Fort Worth) and got a good deal and they delivered to Louisiana. Holt has another actually in Dallas I think.

Alfa Romeo Fiat of Dallas is the only dealership in Dallas. The nearest next dealers are in Mckinney (40 miles NE) about an hour away or Holt in Hurst (35 miles W) about 30-40 minutes depending on time of day / traffic. The astonishing thing is that this happened in Dallas with 1.2M residents in the city proper which is part of the DFW metro area (6.6M). Likely this is the move we've been seeing to consolidate Fiat into Chrysler dealerships - which is also what I was told yesterday.
