I'm not going to call you stupid, I don't even think that. In my mind the only reason is to look cool, and that in and of itself is a very subjective and personal thing. Kindig and his customers seem to like it alot, never mind that a rough road will wreck the underside. I'm certainly not one of those people. Other people go the opposite direction and jack up their trucks so they need to climb on something to get in, and combine that with huge diameter wheels and rubber band tires? Now what's the point of doing that with a 4WD truck? Jack it up to get over huge boulders, but ruin the handling, and have tires that won't take a minor pothole without bending the rims? Only to look "COOL". I don't think it's cool at all. Just my opinion. Best, sCall me stupid, but what is the purpose of laying t on the ground? It's not a bird laying an egg. I mean, what function does it perform?
