Yes and no. This method will give you both wired and in some cases wireless AA. The wireless connection can be difficult to obtain. The main point is that no hardware is needed for the upgrade. It's 2 minutes to install from USB and then you have fully functional AA.

I already swapped the USB ports and did the other FIRMWARE update, so I'm good with the current connection. There are times when it doesn't connect immediately. Do you notice any of those issues with this latest version?

Do not mix the two AA installs. If you have the new hub, you only use the official AA.
