The review in issue 246 is superficial. It's certainly the shortest I've seen in any publication or newspaper. The subsequent review of the Abarth 124 is far better, but all in all, the paucity of coverage is breathtaking when you consider that this is a specialist magazine and how rarely new Italian sports cars are released.

I'm still underwhelmed by lack of advertising in UK, still not seen any TV ads just 500 ones which are on constantly.
This goes along way to explain why, in nearly 3 months of ownership, I've yet to see another 124 on the road!
Also no front page spreads on any of the monthly mags (that I've sneakily read in WH Smiths!)

I have seen no advertising at all in Aus either. But here in Aus, they decided to sell the Abarth version only and the pricing is pretty sharp. It starts about GBP25,500 (drive away) for a pretty loaded Abarth, and GBP27,500 (drive away) for a fully loaded (Abarth leather and Visibility Pack) manual Launch Edition. As a result, it costs about the same here as a top spec MX5 and the motoring press reviews have been really positive with most saying it's a bargain (and it is).....and with no advertising, the waiting list is out to six months.
