That is a bummer Brandon, after all your work. I just found this thread and while reading it I was going to message you to see if I could come and see your car in person, I live in Milwaukee also and am having a hard time seeing an Abarth. I will probably have to drive to Madison or Illinois. Anyway, I hope everything works out for you and that you get a car back that is fixed right. I don't plan on buying until next year, so maybe one of these days I will see yours if it's possible.
I'm up in Green Bay and you're welcome to come up and see mine. I'll be gone Sunday - Thursday next week.

Thanks Seagas!. I will PM you and see if we can work something out in the near future. Just sold my place in Crivitz last month, I drove that way quite often. :D

I bought mine from Van Horn in Plymouth, got lucky. The original guy ordered last July and after waiting 8 months bowed out. The dealer decided to let it come in and way so when I started looking just after Independence Day, I came across them sayin the they have one coming in. So I only had to wait about month :)

I got my car back! She looks good as new. I also got married and picked up a new toy for the wife last weekend:

First, congratulations on your nuptials. And second, nice toy for your wife! You're up there with my husband for "best ever" after he took me to the Fiat dealer because he noticed how laser focused I was on the Abarth when Richard Hammond drove it on the Grand Tour. Still have major, major love for the car...and for him ;)

Ouchy! Looks like a bit of 'over zealousness'.

Yep, the cruiser who went into the turn too hot was a bit overzealous. ;)

Oh! So a bike hit you!? Looks like 'Unit 2' made a bit of a whoopsie, and you were at right place at the wrong time.

ah cruiser at the gap...

killboy brings out the hooligan in them

over-cooked it...

insert spider abarth here

You can tell they are not leaning into the turn with their bodies, forcing the bike to lean even farther then it can before dragging. Cruiser style bikes are lower and have more stuff to drag with, the biker needs to understand this and use his body weight to lean into the turn so the bike doesn't need to lean as much. First thing I learned by experience with my V-Star, watch a good sports bike rider lean into the turn, cruiser bikers!

I had a vulcan 800 rejetted(8 extra HP), and believe me, when it came to curves, I let the throttle off, cause one thing I did not want to touch were the breaks, by slowing down you could straighten the bike and apply break. But if you leaning, and apply the breaks you end up in the ditch.

Conclusion, slow down on the curves. Better safe than sorry. Sold the bike and got my SCATOLETTA

These cars do not have TPMS sensors in the wheels. They use the ABS system.
That is. Ot true. My 2017 ABarth came from the factory with OEM TPMS TIRE PRESSURE SENSORS installed in the factory wheels. I have removed them and installed just the brass rubber TPMS sensor stems. My experience is that by the time the sensor icon on the dashboard goes on that the tire is flat. Robbie
