Hi....Personal choice here but here goes....I read "many" years ago when car alarms were still new to us masses that it was better to keep it on at all times. I have done that since the 1980's without issue, however.....whilst my daily driver re charges through alternator,my "Classic" or "Special " car only being used occasionally or even not used in winter, just ticked over and wheels moved to avoid flat spotting, I have ALWAYS used a trickle charger summer or winter when vehicle not in use......I owned a Ford Cabriolet 16 years, same battery 16 years when sold.....! No, I couldn't believe it either but that's the story....Cheers
