That Guardian wheel really classes up the place. Been wanting one of those for a while, might have to pull the trigger soon. How long did it take from order to arrival?
About a month and a week in total. Took about two weeks after ordering to confirm my order since they were finishing up a large batch but after that it go to me in about 20 days. Haven't got to drive with it yet but I agree it really spruces things up and I'm sure is going to feel alot better. I find the stock wheel very thin and slippery.

The 500 Abarth steering wheel was really impressive to me at the car's price point, and I definitely felt the 124 was a downgrade.

I'm conflicted as to what I want to do with my Madness rear spoiler. There are large gaps on the corners and after close to a month I finally got pictures of madness spoiler installed on their car with directions to basically fill in the gaps with 3m window weld( the stuff to attach windshields to your car). If this was a $200 spoiler I wouldn't be so ticked off but the amount of time it took to get the spoiler and then get a response back about it(and by the way, still no update(ordered 2 and a half months ago) on my side sil i ordered for a ridiculous price as well), but I'm not quite keen to have to use windshield installer weld to clean up the look of my spoiler. While I have no plans in the future to get rid of the car, I also don't like doing modifications on the body like that that are much more permanent than just double sided sticky taping it. I don't know how easy it would be to remove the 3m stuff from the paint if I mess up, and its probably doable but the whole point of spending this much on a product was I expect 95% fitiment, not 1/4 inch gaps around the edges. At this point I am sadly thinking about asking them to return the spoiler and possibly just cancel my order for the sils. I have been hesitant to post about this is their spoiler thread as it seems they hold grudges sometimes against people that speak negatively so I'll keep it here in this thread but I will say that at this point I am dissapointed. The response I was hoping for was yes, that is poor fitment, please send it back and we will send you a new one that hopefully fits better(As any company has done in the past when I receive a poor fitting tape on CF part).

Heres a pic they sent me of the window weld fix.

I'm really sorry to see this, but I'm with you if you pay a good amount of money I would expect a perfect or close to perfect fitment due to the looks on this car.

I've been incredibly busy and my spiders just been sitting torn apart for a month now, but I do at least have everything to put her back together now(thought I don't think its going to happen any time soon haha), I did just message madness on here saying I'd like to return the spoiler so we'll see how that goes. I finally got the side sils last week from them, haven't even opened the box, but fitment on those are much less picky so they shouldn't be an issue hopefully. I really wanted the trifecta of the front splitter, side sils, and spoiler, but I will just settle for the first two.

Just dropping in to say I'm still alive and the spider has just been sitting torn apart for months now. Haven't really had the time or energy to work on it, though its getting a bit colder and im trying to free up some time from work so maybe ill get back to putting her all together again soon and getting her tuned. Kind of want to drive the hour and a half and get her dyno tuned by EC instead of a remote tube when I get to that point.

I’m even farther and I’ve considered it. I’ve also thought about shipping my car there and back. But ultimately, mine is a street car, and it’s running great as is, I don’t really need it dialed in more.
NOOOO! I need you to make the drive like Calehedron. This way I learn something new from you guys. I may sick mike34 on you and your lack of red in your spider

Hey everyone,
Did a bit of work on the car tonight, got inspired by @NGEN new video they put out a bit ago about removing and installing the exhaust manifold and turbo. Got as far as getting the turbo back on and the bottom oil line and stopped there since I had spent an hour pulling off the under tray and putting it back on after finding one of the 5 bolts on the backside of the turbo i managed to drop and called it quits then.

A little disappointed so far with my EC turbo for a few reasons, when I followed Bryans instructions in the video and separated my turbo i discovered one of the fins was bent pretty good on the corner, probably not going to cause any issues but still annoying(another fin has minor bendage). The clamp was installed the opposite of where it needed to go so I had to loosen it and spin it around so I could get the bottom oil line on, however the suppled nut and bolt in the clamp didn't have a lock on the back of the bolt to hold it in place so I had to get two sockets on it at awkward angles and hope I got it tight enough. And having been sent a 500 turbo rather than a 124 turbo, I'm still not sure exactly where to clock it too. I tried using the locator pin position using an Allen key as a guide pin but thats obviously the position for the 500 as my wastegate wouldn't come near to working in that position so I may just wait till I get ready to put the waste gate on and the intercooler piping and then just tighten the turbo clock position down once I have those secured as a bit of a guide. If I could do it over again I would have bought the turbo from Bryan as well as the ported manifold instead of purchasing them from separate vendors as in his video his turbo seems to be of better quality and a 124 turbo.

Anyways Its been months since I've touched her and I am beat. I have been dealing with alot of health issues lately and haven't had energy so I'm glad I am getting back to making some progress.

Well I got her started up yesterday finally and everything seems to be well except for when I was checking for where I thought I would have an exhaust leak, I did. At the goodwin sport cat and the crosspipe where they join. A bit dissapointed with the fitiment on the crosspipe I got from goodwin, I already had to modify it to fit( drill out the flange one size up and the hanger and grind the side of the flange) but it still doesn't sit flush. I am going to have to pull the cross pipe back off and try to drill out the flange and hanger a bit more to give me a little bit more play. May have to pull the turbo blanket off as well and loosen the turbo Vband and the sport cat bracket and try to tighten the Crosspipe to them and then tighten everything up and see if that gives me some play as well. Either way just wish all the goodwin stuff fit a bit better but it has been off for me since the start. As long as I can fix the exhaust leak though I will be happy because despite the fitment issues I've had it sounds AMAZING.

Well we finally were able to get the sport cat to seal to the crosspipe(I think, its hard to check the side where the bracket is, but it appears to be sealed and it is idling smoothly so I think we have a good seal now), but then of course the crosspipe bracket doesn't line up and the top of the donut to the system one leaks. Which I proceed to email brian asking if he can send me another crosspipe to try or if I can send him mine back to check because I was at my wits end. And of course right after emailing Brian I call my dad and ask if he has any ideas and he said just ditch the OEM spring set up and bolt them together, which sealed it up at the donut (though the bracket is still off, but that can be fixed). And of course during all this Brian emails me back super quick (as usual amazing customer service emailing me back on a Saturday night) saying he just had another customer convinced there was an issue with his crosspipe as well and sent it back and Brian put it on his car and it fit perfectly fine but there was an issue with the factory stud size on the sport cat stripping a bit and not letting his seal up flush either, to which they just cleaned them up and got them to seal I believe.

Anyways my fix so far is just ditching the spring set up as pictured. I still don't think my crosspipe is 100% but as Brian says they are made on a jig and all made the same. My crosspipe bracket being as off as it is makes me feel mine may be a one off issue, but either way I've got everything sealed and shes holding steady at 800 rpm once warmed up with no fluctaing so I'll take what I can get and move on with getting her stage one tuned then put the intercooler on once I get some time and get the stage 3 tune done. Happy for now and again happy with Brians super quick response to me on a saturday evening.

That filter is completely different than the V4. V4 is a closed canister that connects with a short hose back to the ram duct that the OEM air box connects to. Here in PHX that plastic duct gets soft in the heat and it collapses under the hose clamp and eventually falls loose on me, it has a permanent V notch in the outer ring from folding up. Another thing I am working on a redesign for.
@Calehedron I may have found a solution to this. I found listings on ebay for velocity stacks, and I was thinking to put the stack in place of the plastic and attach it to the intake. The stacks are cheap and come in all colors and sizes. Was also wondering if with the small battery if you could take air from the driver side reducing all the bends and making a true strait shot ram air.

You may want to check out this thread about the risk of ditching those springs. Brian Goodwin made a great point in comment 51.
