I am picking up my 124 Spider on Friday! Everything is lined up, Just need to go in with the down payment, sign, trailer it home and wait for the snow to go away. It is Rosso Red, Black interior with the Luxury collection and Abarth badges on the Hood and Trunk. The photo below is just from the Dealer website.

Congratulations. Post more photos on the forum when you get it home. Winter tragedy that you have to trailer it. Love the red. Did you see the Fiat Christmas commercial of a red Abarth in the snow?

Hard to believe that sat on the lot as long as it has. Congrats and thank you for rescuing the Abarth. Is it a manual or A/T? Happy Holidays!
It has the Manual! Really looking forward to getting back into a standard transmission. Plus the anti-theft that most people don't drive stick.

Welcome. Remember to reset the tire pressure in the Spring. They may be set at 50 pounds now, and that will be fine for storage. For driving, they should be 29 pounds all around.

I did not see that commercial, I had to look it up. It all looks fun and well until you consider all the salt they dump on the roads our here... In fact, the only 124 spider commercial I have seen is the one I saw back in October, until then I didn't even know the 124 was coming to America. Shame on me for skipping the auto shows last couple of years.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm looking over all the steps to put her away for the winter. Do you, or anyone else, suggest disconnecting the negative terminal, as it says in the manual, or putting the car on a tender?

Personally, I would put it on a tender. I have had extremely good performance with tenders, on an'87 Alfa Spider and an '87 Honda Magna. It doesn't have to be an expensive one either.

Here are some photos of the new Abarth. She got caught in the snow for about 10' between the showroom - the trailer - and the garage. My Girlfriend and I are trying to think of a good name for her... Any suggestions or ways to go about naming our new toy?
