This is my shoddy MS Paint attempt at showing what a lowered 124 would look like with the stock Classica wheels on meatier tires--I think it could potentially look pretty good!

Looks good, but I always get concerned about over-tyreing small light cars. Part of the fun is that they move around a bit because they don't have too much mechanical grip

Sure, I would largely agree with that assessment. Ideally I'm looking for a wheel/tire combo with a larger sidewall (say, 205/55/16) that would solve the wheel gap problem. For example, see these renders I got from the MOPAR website:




How can I attain this look with the stock Classica wheels? Would 205/55/16 tires work? Perhaps a combination of that and lowering the car?
