Is there a way to adjust the play in the clutch pedal?

The clutch mechanism is hydraulic and as such, there is no adjustment. My clutch slave cylinder failed resulting in the peddle going to the floor without engaging the clutch. If your peddle is getting closer to the floor your clutch plate may be wearing out. ($$$$)

If its the same as the mx5 I don't think you can adjust it. This is from the mx5 nd manual
