I’m looking for V70.00.100 for the CMU, but I cannot find a copy available anywhere. All the links on any guide is broken.

I’m now good to go to upgrade the unit for CarPlay, but I just cannot find a copy of the firmware to copy anywhere.

Is anyone able to share me with this please?

Cheers! Will drop a reply. But I suspect they won’t be able to help as I note they are American. And I’ve found a the NA one from a few sources. Will give it a crack!

No, they did not do that. In fact, that thread is specifically on the serial method update, which doesn't apply to the OP since he's running v56. That thread is also using the Mazda NA files whereas the OP is based out of the UK and needs the European v70 Mazda EU Failsafe + Reinstall files.

At work now but might be able to help you get those files later tonight if noone has shared them by then.

Yeah I suspected that. I haven’t looked into the serial method as it does not apply to me, but in that case I suppose the files are different?

IIRC, another European member @heyisthatyourcar was also in the process of adding Carplay/AA functionality recently. I believe he said he had a "great lil shop guy" who provided the Mazda v70 EU files, which you should be able to use. However, keep in mind he did not seem to find success with the Abarth/Fiat rebranding part of the install, so I probably would only use the EU files they used and not the others.

Otherwise, I'll check tonight like I said before.
