@68wooley, wish I could make it. Quite a long ways for me. Maybe one day we can split the distance and do something around Vail. I still haven't seen another 124 on the road so I'm not sure how many of us there are on the Western Slope.
@depotdan, the other day I took 92 north out of Sapinero up to Hotchkiss, over to Orchard City and hit 65 north over the Grand Mesa and back to Grand Junction. What a spectacular day of driving. Tons of curves and great scenery.

Fall color meet up?

Maybe Peak to Peak, up to Estes Park, National Park, lunch on top of the pass? Or something like that.
Estes Park is 5 1/2 hours from me. How about something in the middle like Steamboat Springs? Although I would find it hard to beat Telluride colors in the fall. These photos are from October 3, 2016.

You know you guys could make the long journey to Grand Junction this weekend. We have another track day this Saturday starting at 8 AM at the Grand Junction Motor Speedway. It would be nice to see some more modded 124s take on the heavily modded Miatas. The track is a KART track so it's about perfect for our cars. I've been trying to talk @68wooley into it. I think he's close.

I have provisional permission for next weekend - drive out Friday afternoon, stay the night in the Grand Junction, track fun Saturday morning then drive back.

Only potential issue is we might have to renew my daughter's passport on Saturday before our cruise in October - still working out if we're going anywhere that has a 6 month validity restriction...I'll know tomorrow one way or the other.

I’m doing the dragway Friday night. You in? Mano a mano. I’d like to talk Flyin’ Miata out and run the new ND2 they just got.
