if i am reading it right it is for one hundred and twenty four cars, not just one, as it says 124pcs. there is also a blue version, same rpice and again 124pcs. There is another listing for 50 fiat 695 abarth for $349.00

With a higher shipping price like that I think you may be right... But it could also mean that the model is built with 124 different pieces as well ?

It may be lost in translation. When I was on the BBRmodelstore.com website last week, I thought they meant limited production runs of 124 pieces for each color/model. I pre-ordered a smaller version of my white 124 Classica for 30 euros. Hope that is the final price!

if my logic is right then it is actually a really good deal if you wanted to buy and resell them

The ebay listing also says (in the small print) that it's hand made from resin, not die-cast metal apparently. Maybe some double checking needed?

If I read the BBR site correctly, they will only be making 124 of these. What is with the limited edition stuff...don't they want to make more money and sell things? Hopefully we'll see them on the costco floor toy aisle sometime soon :)

On the BBR website these still have a pre-order status. they are €237.90 and you have to make a down payment of €61. So the only way somebody can sell them from stock is if BBR has already made a first batch and they got a number of these.
But considering the pre-order status, it would be quite logical to assume that more will be coming.

i sent a message to the sellers yesterday to clarify the ad, just out of curiosity. Iheard back and they said the ad is just for one car and that the 124pcs. means that it is a limited edition run of 124. There are ads for a red one and a blue one so far at that amazing price.

BBR are a 'collectors model supplier' not a toy manufacturer. Their price for a 1/43 scale 124 is the going rate and one of the cheapest models they produce! I have a few of thier models and the quality and detail is refelected in the price. This is not the model for everyone.

I have just pre-ordered mine from Grand Prix models in the UK - expected price £74 - I have had to pay a £1 deposit. Delivery in 2016 but normally these things are anything from 6 to 18 months late.

I haven't had much luck with model cars coming from overseas.
