I've just picked up my Spider after it has been fully treated both cavity wax and underseal at JR Classics in Doncaster. The car was comprehensive cleaned and then dried on days 1 and 2 before trim panels were removed for cavity waxing and box sections treaded and underseal applied on days 3 and 4 with day 5 as a drying day. At £930 it wasn't cheap but comes guaranteed.

Looks like its been done just in time as the condition report has come back showing surface rust on the subframes and running gear. Joe at JRC tells me that he's got another Spider booked in next week. Not sure if the owner is a member here, but if so I can recommend them. Joe who runs JRC is really pleasant, easy to deal with and most important of all, has done a great job.

Had Dinitrol treatment done in August 2021 at South West Rust Proofing in Westbury, Wiltshire. Approved Dinitrol outlet with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Same process as napastar and loads of photos.

It's a fair way from Liverpool so combined it with a stay in the Cotswolds. Cost of treatment was £805 including courtesy car.

They recommend an annual inspection, first one is free but then £90, that was the price in 2021, and includes minor touch ups if required. They also supplied a touch up spray can for any missing underseal found during normal servicing. Sophia was serviced in March 2022, seven months later, and the Fiat agent was well impressed with the treatment.

I did get a quote from a "underbody treatment specialist" closer to home, they wanted £750 and if I dropped the car off before 9.00am it would be ready to drive home 4.00pm same day!

My indie mechanic has advised I get this done also after seeing some surface rust. I may give this guy a call as I am in Wickersley close to Doncaster.
The only problem is he's now taking bookings for June 2014, however if you can let him have the car at short notice a cancelation slot may be an option. To maintain the guarantee Like Steve H the car should have an annual inspection/touch ups back at JRC, with the 1st one being free and subsequent inspections cost £45.

Have a look at preserve and protect in Johnstone Renfrewshire, had our 124 dinatrol treated by them around 6 years ago, gets annual checks, they also removed all the wheel arch liners etc and used a converter before dinatrol treatment, sent around 20 photos of work being done, Mark the owner is very helpful, the protection from factory is poor.
