Car kept in garage. Early morning start makes a clanging noise like no oil near the lifters. It LAST only TWO seconds, then all ok. I sit for a few minutes to let it warm up a little, then go an my way keeping revs under 3,000, until a few minutes after the blue light goes out.

So the question is, Should I put in some Lucus Full Synthetic Oil conditioners, to stop that early morning noise??

Do any of you guys use oil conditioners, Lucus, Marvel Myster Oil,( which I know is a solvent cleaner to use before an oil change) or anything else...

And one more question...What about gas addatives, like Chevron Techtron, Lucus gas stabilizer, or Marvel Mystery Oil??

Appreciate all and any replies to these questions

I think that's just noise from the MultiAir actuators. It's normal, and I wouldn't worry about it or recommend an oil additive.

I'm pretty sure the engineers at Fiat are kinda smart. They specified what type of oil is needed for the Multiair 1.4. That oil is in your engine and has all the additives already in it. Don't mess with it.
