If someone wants it that bad then better it comes off without damaging the grille .... when I fit mine it will just be the addition of some black sealant to avoid the tow bar plug dropping out completely due to additional weight of the emblem.

The place where you glue it is removable anyway, so if someone takes it I guess they take the plastic insert with it. My understanding is that is the cover for the where the tow hook goes.

There are two grill badges, red 82215036 and black w/silver numbers 82215037. I'm picking up a red from a dealer tomorrow. the red will contrast nicely with my Bianco Gelato white.

You may be right - comparing photos it seems the Abarth's honey comb design has smaller cells.

Follow up...I looked close and the cell the emblem mounted into is a smaller one anyway so you might luck out after all. Hope so.

the emblem only fits in the cell they show it in as far as i can tell. even the cell on the opposite side of the grill that looks the same is different and the emblem won't fit.

If only I could get my hands on a 3D print file! Does anyone's library have a 3D scanner? My library may get one next year. It might be best to scan the removable tiedown cover and just 3D print the whole thing with the emblem already incorporated.

Got an email from the place I'd ordered it saying the vin didn't match up right. Glad I gave them the vin. They cancelled the order willingly. I like the look but will wait to see if that one fits before buying.

I love the Abarth package but have to admit, I find the the hood logo a bit loud. However, I find the simple red logo with white scorpion on the Abarth wheels to be fantastic. Would it be too much to have that simple red and white logo for the hood/trunk? I would really appreciate the cleanliness of that.

Butchery won't really help, the Abarth has slightly taller cells as well.
