That is a cool feature. I'm a little sad that I'll NEVER use the SNOW feature. Well..not really. I suppose I could use it in the rain?

Hey man....throw a couple of cups of that cool Shave ice under the wheels. That should give you the effect.

Aloha
How does it interact with Sport mode on Abarths?

It interacts perfectly with both modes.

Don't be sad about that! Trust me on this one...

Lol.
@Greg

The anti-theft mode...if you forget that it's engaged. Do you just hit the mode button to get it active? Restart the engine?

What about connections to the car? I haven't seen/heard anything about that. Connectors? Splices?

Mounting of the module? Velcro? Double Stick tape?

Where did you mount yours? I'm looking at above the left side vent or below and above the switch panel. To the right of that towards the steering wheel is a good spot (flat) but I wouldn't be able to see the module (unless the wheel is turned).

Aloha EC crew.
Another vendor on the forum is also selling a GoPedal, and they have a good video available showing how to pull the gas pedal from the floor and unplugging the throttle cable and jumping in the PedalPro via two cable connectors. Looks pretty easy.
Checked the installation instructions on the EC site. It’s not working yet. Hopefully it will be up the first of the week.

Its very simple and instructions will be added shortly. It simply plugs into the OBD2 port and the connector on the gas pedal.

Can you run a OBD reader at the same time?

If so, looks like the OBD extension cable I bought won't work..DARN.Looks like I'll need to get a Y OBD cable. So I can run it and the OBD Fusion app.

Aloha mike

My bad ...apologies ...it is a much different beast, but does sound like it will be very easy to install.

To get the car out of anti-theft mode you need to type in the secret code. It's simple and you won't forget how to do it, but I don't want to post it here. It literally takes about 2 seconds and you can drive the car again.

What about connections to the car? I haven't seen/heard anything about that. Connectors? Splices?
It's easy to install. There are two two different ways to do it. It's a little different from the competing products because its extra processing ability requires 12 volt power. Super short unofficial instructions to follow: You start by unbolting the gas pedal. There are two easily accessible bolts and it lifts right out. You then unplug the pedal and plug the Pro Pedal's harness into the pedal and into the car's wiring harness (meaning the plug that was plugged into the pedal.

Next, you need to get that source of 12 volt power. We include a plug that goes into the OBD2 port to provide that. Once that's done, you mount the controller via double sided tape route the wires secure it with zip ties and that's it.

Now, in the event that you don't want to use the OBD2 plug for 12 volt power (possibly because you are using that port for something else) we include instructions to connect the device to power and ground without cutting any wires, or going through the firewall to the engine bay. It's easy and only takes a few extra mins.

Mounting of the module? Velcro? Double Stick tape?
The control module is incredibly small and light. The included Double sided tape works perfectly. I suggest mounting it to the left of the steering wheel. That makes is super easy to route the wires under the dash because they can pass through the steering column space.

Where did you mount yours? I'm looking at above the left side vent or below and above the switch panel. To the right of that towards the steering wheel is a good spot (flat) but I wouldn't be able to see the module (unless the wheel is turned).
That sounds like what I did. I suppose I should post a picture of my 124 installation. In my case the control module is blocked from easy sight, but it's not a tachometer, I don't look at it very much. I can easily put it in or out of snow mode or take it out of FTL mode without looking at it, which is by design. For anything else, I have to move my head to see it, but once I find the setting I like, I don't mess with it too much.

Aloha EC crew.
Thanks!

Aloha Mike.

You can run this and your fusion app at the same time, however you will need to connect the unit to power and ground. We include instructions to do that. We suggest using posi-taps for this as they will eliminate any need to cut wires.

Perfect @Greg appreciate the explanation.

Haha another secret code/password/PIN I have to remember. (I don't even remember my mom's cell phone number..I know shame on me...but YOU know I won't forget the PEDAL-PRO © CODE!

Nice and I have Posi-taps already.

Sounds like that's the spot I'll mount it.

Have a great Sunday or early Monday to my Asian/Aussie/Euro forum members!!!

Aloha Mike
I am pretty sure I understand where Greg mounted his ...and yes, there is a large amount of acreage to mount there, although my aftermarket paddle shifters obscures it. I was wondering if the two sided tape would be stout enough to mount the module on the razorback ridge just under the vent. It would definitely be within eyesight.
I'll post a picture of where I mounted it sometime tomorrow. Mike, don't worry about remembering this pass code. It's really easy and it's in the instructions, so even if somehow somebody did forget, it's easy to find.

Greg
Kinda like the idea of mounting it hidden under the arm rest. Doesn’t sound like once you have a setting you don’t need access very often. Then no more lights (presuming it does not dim) at night and I am sure the dealer is not looking under the armrest. Guess it depends on the size though.
