Was thinking of adding exhaust tips to my Fiat 124 Classica. Two questiions; Does this effect warranty and has anyone done this to improve appearance.
Have been looking at Dynomax 36484 Stainless Steel Exhaust Tip.

This should not affect your warranty whatsoever IMHO. It is illegal for a manufacturer or dealer to void your warranty because you've installed an aftermarket part (Magnuson-Moss warranty act 1975). The burden of proof is on the manufacturer to prove that the aftermarket part caused the failure. Plus, installing tips is not going to alter any of the engine operating perimeters like A/F curve, timing, hp, or tq. Now if you needed your exhaust replaced because the outlets prematurely rusted, the dealer and manufacturer would have a valid argument maybe (i.e. the aftermarket tips held moisture against the metal and didn't let it evaporate). Remember, for every gallon of gasoline you burn a gallon of water is produced: Fuel + O2 → CO2 + H2O.
