Fake Brembos

Inasmuch as it nigh unto impossible to find an Abarth fitted with Brembo brakes (with manual transmission and luxury package), I saw on Ebay some plastic caliper covers in red with the Brembo logo for $13!
Apparently it's coming from China and probably is a trademark infringement on Brembo, but, hey, if Fiat won't supply the real thing, why not?

Meh, rather get the real deal or just paint my calipers and add some writing thats significant to the spider, maybe "spider" ?

it will be a fun weekend job that any enthusiast can be proud of.

Why would you want to pretend you had Brembos?

For some of the same reasons you can buy fake security cameras or ATD signs to put in your yard even when you don't have the service. U can fool some of the people.........Abe L. Or a funnier quote. Those who try to act superior make it so much harder for those of us who are superior. Hyacinth B. Some people just need to seem more than they are for some reason.
Why not check out some of the offerings from Good-Win Racing? They've some great brake packages for the 124!

Didn't even know plastic Brembo covers were a thing, but then again I shouldn't be surprised as there's plenty of people out there who wants a real set but can't afford one.
You can probably buy a Ferrari badge on eBay, too.

If I were to fit my Spider with Brembos, I wouldn't want red calipers. The only person who needs to know they're there is me.

Red calipers look pretty with a red car. Half the reason I want brembos is for appearance, honestly. If that's all someone wants, I could see a reason to have fake ones, I wouldn't recommend it, but I could see why.

I want brembos because I plan to autocross. Is it possible to add the brembo calipers at the dealer? Using wilwood components changes the class your car is in from street to modified and I don't want that.

I can't see why. If you want red calipers, paint the calipers red.

The caliper covers that they sell on eBay are all universal anyhow. You'll have to start doing some sort of modifications to them and then probably superglue them onto the caliper. They're rubbish.
