Okay, now that is super **** cool ! Need specs on it asap !
I am fairly sure it's packing an Alfa Romeo engine with a unique to the 124 transmission, intake, exhaust and intercooler. It has an impressive roll cage, a front skid plate, and likely a rear skid plate. It does have a lot of the 124's DNA, but it's a different car. That said, those of use in the aftermarket will be looking closely at what Fiat's factory race guys did with this car. I am pretty sure it has some incredible work done to the suspension.

Any serious vendor will look closely at factory racing efforts. A lot can be learned by paying attention to what the factory guys do, they have an R&D budget and access to information that the rest of us just don't have.

In the case of the 500 Abarth Rally car, I went over that car with a fine tooth comb, and I hope to get the chance to do the same with the 124 rally car.

Here is the 500 Rally car I went through:

Every wonder what's underneath those Rally Car roof scoops?

Based on earlier reporting, I think this car has a 300 HP 1.8 liter turbo four with direct fuel injection. Fun.

It's the Alfa Romeo 4C's 1750cc engine. 300 horsepower is likely just the starting point.

I'd be happy with the 4C's 237 horsepower (OK, make it 250) in a Spider, and I'd like the convertible top retained.
