After announcing the U.S. spec 124 Spider last week, Fiat has opened up the configurator on their American site. Those of you in the states can now visit the build page and create your own virtual 124 Spider.
Fiat’s base model, the 124 Spider Classica, will have a starting price of $24,995 and this doesn’t include the destination fee. There aren’t a lot of packages and options for the base model. All you’ll have to choose from is Fiat’s Technology Collection for an additional $1,295 which includes a 7-Inch Display with AM/FM Bluetooth radio, rear back-up camera, and remote proximity keyless entry. If you choose not to go with their package, you can upgrade the standard 3-inch display to a 7-inch one as a separate option.
One step up is the Spider Lusso with a MSRP of $27,495. Compared to the Classica, The Lusso will come with a standard 7-inch display along with other features like 17-inch wheels, piano black accents, leather-wrapped cluster brow and lower instrument panel, and leather seats. Instead of just one tech package, you have a choice of either a $3,795 Premium Collection package or the $1,495 Safety and Comfort Collection
And finally, there’s the sporty Elaborazione Abarth with standard performance parts like the limited-slip differential and Bilstein shocks. Options include a $3,995 Luxury Collection and a $1,495 Safety and Comfort Collection package.
All trim levels come with the 1.4-liter I4 MultiAir turbo engine and 6-Speed Manual RWD Transmission but you can pay an additional $1,350 for the AISIN 6-Speed automatic RWD transmission.
