They got lucky since Mazda showed off the RF, giving them a good reference point for doing this. Too bad it looks better on the Miata than on the 124, it helps that the Miata has more curves that play into a better looking roof:

That actually looks good on the miata...hmmm.. I wouldn't mind if they produced both of the rendering concept. Nowadays all the concepts are borrowing from another brand... or merging with another brand for platform and what not so there's not much uniqueness to the car.

It looks pretty good, but I prefer the hardtop on the Rally Abarth 124.

Was the one on the rally retractable? It looks like it was stuck there to me. Admittedly, the targa top does look better on the miata than the 124... Maybe that's why Fiat is only coming out with a convertible and not a targa.

The rally top isn't retractable. It is likely removable.

Even if you were to remove it, you'll have all these holes exposed and openings, plus you'd have to disconnect all the wiring harnesses.

Unless they made it easy to disconnect with a cover for all the hardware.

I actually really like it with the targa top. The miata does pull it off better, but I think both can go with it.

But the mentioning of a harness is confusing me as well .. ?
