I did not wanted to drill holes on the front and the best tow hook frame "platypus" by cravenspeed on amazon. was $93, but for other cars its around 15 bucks. So, wondered if a mazda miata tow hook frame will work, tried a couple of them and found one for $15, yup just 15 instead of the ridiculous 90 bucks. Its a close fit, needs dexterity to install but it works. I put some double sided foam tape at the back just in case to prevent scratching the bumper. Its a sturdy frame so I'm not worried but just incase. Just wanted to share, cheers.
I have a 124 abarth 2019. You can find the frame on ebay seller Artudatech-01, "Bumper Tow Hook License Plate Mount Bracket Holder For Mazda3 Mazda6 CX5 MX5 USA".

I have a no drill kind that uses the egg crate lower grill and positions the plate where it normally would be. When my car was at the dealer getting a new water pump, a salesman and the service advisor were looking at my plate for a customer that just bought a spider. But yea mine was 90 bucks all in.

I have a 2019 Abarth. Bought it new at a SoCal dealership. I wanted to move the front license plate to a position other than the traditional middle of the bumper and was considering one of the alternatives that uses the tow hook spot. There was a temporary license plate on the car, mounted on the front and rear, when I bought it. I decided to see how the dealer mounted the front plate holder. Not good. Two holes are drilled in the front bumper. Any suggestion on how to repair the damage? If nothing can be done, I'll just stick with the license plate holder in its current location. I'd rather not.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
