Has anyone lighted up the footwells under the dash? What are the best ways to get the lights to come whenever a door is opened, and also to stay on when the care is running? I put a couple LED strips in the trunk area that work brilliantly (just soldered onto the existing light fixture's contacts), but the cabin area is looking more complicated.

I installed the Cobalt kit from Moss and followed the instructions for 2016 ND matia. Less than 30 minute install. Upgraded the tape to some 3M UHB I had sitting around. Goes out with the overhead light and triggered by doors. Could probably be wired to stay on by tapping a different wire (with a little extra effort and investigation).

Out of interest, do you know if the lights in the Cobalt kit regular filament bulbs or are they LEDs(cool or warm white)?

Thanks
