I have been trying to find an LED Smoke marker for the front of a 2019 Abarth. I have found some in ebay and Amazon, but after I order them and the order came in, the markers were too thing and too long. I order some blank fascia from Tasca and when I measure and compared them with the rear markers, they appear to be the exact same size when put side by side, but have not been able to find the Smoke Amber on the same size but with Amber LED. Looking to see who in the forum have been able to get some.

I was thinking the same thing today while doing some mods. It looks like the rear side lights are the same just rotated and will be checking on that tomorrow. If they are I'm going to try buying a pair and switching out the red lens for clear and see about gutting them to put leds in. Hoping I can actually find some made for the front instead of making them but sometimes we just have to do it ourselves. I'll keep following this and I'll do some searching and measuring.

Yes, I just trying to match the ones on the rear and side fender. I got both of them sequential LED Smoke. I have some extra one's for the rear but they are LED Red. I though about taking them apart but do not know how since they are glue. I will try to research how to take them apart and swap the LED'S.

These front markers are for the ND. The manufacturer erroneously said that they would work on the A124. The pictures they show are also not correct. This has been discussed on another thread. I agree that the shape of the rear marker is what we need. If only it were available in amber.

I will for sure be working on finding lens replacements for the rears to make the fronts. I'll either get it working or go broke trying lol. Those sequential side makers I just put on got me lol

I know that now, but in the pictures that they posted, it actually shows a 124 with the amber light, I ordered it, once I got it I notice right away that it wasn't going to fit, so I returned them.

So did I understand your correctly Freddie? The rear wheel well units would fit this front space if flipped around? I wish I'd taken a photo of my rear ones before I installed them so I could figure out if they could be disassembled for insertion of a yellow LED replacement component. Keep us posted if you figure out the disassembly process.

depotdan, since the front location isn't currently wired, what were you planning on tieing them into for power... and how would they get mounted in that location? Thoughts?

Sounds good, I found a shop in southern CA that specializes on custom headlights, side markers on all sort of vehicles with LED Lights, and per the videos that I found they do some very creative job. Will post once I get a response.

So to confirm, I thought I read you indicating that the rear side markers would fit in the front location if flipped around. Is that correct, or did I misunderstand what you wrote?

I place the extra set of the rear to the front vent fascia and compare them to the rear one's already in the car rear and the size matches. But I will need to remove the fascia and mount them to get a true feel.

Ok, so I remove the fascia on the front fender and the back marker that I have does not fit. So I believe that when I ordered they send me the one's for the MX-5 instead. So my other option is to remove my rear marker and attempt to mounted in the front.

If you have an Abarth, the rear marker for the MX-5 and the Abarth 124 Spider are the same. I know this from when I ordered mine from an AliExpress seller. So, going back to the Abarth story, if you have an Abarth and you've already replaced your rear marker with an LED version, just dry fit your old OEM rear marker on the front. If you don't have an Abarth model, then I believe (but could well be wrong) that the rear side marker is different. Please do let me know how your experiement works, but please don't do anything on just to satisfy my curiosity. Just grind away at the project based on your own needs and timeline. I'll gladly wait and see how you progress.

I do see one seller on AliExpress that offers a 124 Spider front marker, but it's based on a conventional incandescent bulb and doesn't look very nice.... and based on the photos of it, I don't think it would be possible to fit an LED insert into the housing as it's just so much thinner than the LED rear marker versions we're familiar with.

I was just on the Alliexpress webpage and they no longer have any front bumper side markers, they only have the usual ones. I even did a search by vehicle and nothing. Now, what I figure out after removing the blank fascia is that if we do a little trimming on it we could fit them in that way. I used the original rear ones that I remove and it will not be a direct fit, it will require the blank fascia with some center trimming in order to cover the edges and fit it since the mounting is not set up like on the rear.

Yes, the only one I could find now was for a 500 Abarth. I did find this one seller who claimst they engineer and produce their lighting products, and I dropped them a quick note to ask if they might be able to come up with something for the front of Abarth 124 Spider. Worst case scenario, they don't answer or flat out say no. Chance of success is slim to nill, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask. :) This is the page for the rear version of the side marker they make...

Yes, I was on that same webpage and they just to carry the one for the front fender with the wiring, but now it doesn't show that they do.
And I got the reply back today where they said they don't sell one. Because I hadn't had my fill of caffeine yet and was feeling kind of snotty, I replied and said I knew they didn't make one, but they promoted themselves as a designer and manufacturer... but that perhaps they were merely a reseller like many others. lol I suspect that's the end of that conversation.

I just got an email back from the supplier and they are out of stock now, but will notify me when he gets a shipment in a few weeks. Meanwhile, I will order the blank fascia to have them ready.
