Hey fellas,

Ive been wondering about buying a turbo for a very long time, as ive had my stock 124 Abarth for 4 years now. If anyone has suggestions about other turbos I am game if it's better suited for performance on a daily ride. Now on the topic of the G25-550 I know that 2 people have done it so far but I'm not sure how to do it myself, people have suggested to get forged internals, camshafts, connecting rods, all of that but I haven't been able to find it for the 124 Abarth. Does anyone know of any links they could share for forged internals. Finally on the website I'll be sharing of the G25-550 there are 3 versions which one would be best for the 124?

Does one of the two happen to be Eddie? If so, who's the other one? Have you tried reaching out to them? They probably hold the extent of existing knowledge on the build.

The g25-550 turbo is, uh, a fairly serious turbo. By serious i mean I looked at the g25-660 version for my mr2 build that i plan to run on e85, a hellcat fuel pump, a standalone ems, and built bottom end/upgraded head. I say this doubting anyone is running it on this platform at this stage.

Hi guys,

I'm considering the Garrett GT2860Rs is a double ball bearing turbo is bigger but with the ball bearing in mind it should spool up at about the same as stock. Yesterday I went the performance shop and the price was cheaper than the 1446 of eurocompulsion and this turbo is definitely made for 300+ horsepower.

How will you get it to mate up to the exhaust manifold? Or are you going with a custom exhaust manifold too?
