Interestingly, Mopar featured a dark gray heritage stripe on their SEMA car the other day instead of black. I don't know if this was a paint error or intentional. IMO, it looked good on the red paint, but I'm not so sure about how it integrates with the black grill & bumper.

Perhaps they were trying to match the gunmetal gray of the wheels. The car was under bright fluorescent lights, which really made it stand out. I would strongly consider this gray with a red or black Abarth. I'm getting a white one, so I'm staying with the black.

Noted, but I've seen them with and without that part painted. If you get the Heritage stripe option, does it paint that area?
No. They will leave that little gap of body paint, which for some is controversial.

I saw a black abarth the other week and was asked what is different. Because of the darker color you didn't notice the grey lower valence inn front or the gunmetal mirrors, etc. might have shown better under a sunny day. But effect was lost on me, contrasting color like red would have made it stand out more.
