White Launch Edition Abarth 124 (pretty much fully loaded) arrives today to keep our 2014 BRZ company. I guess we must have developed a thing for small RWD sports cars.

We've also a BRZ (S) and a red Launch Edition on the way. Delivery is expected within the next week or so.

We decided against the Visibility Pack, opting instead for a Heritage Pack wrap, the Recaro seats, and Record Monza exhaust (when it arrives). A nice little bonus are the custom plates sitting at the RMS waiting for us, we ordered them the moment the car was announced for the Australian market. I'm surprised the combination we wanted was available to be honest, but then guess many of the original 124's I see around are now on historic club plates which have a different format.

Anyway, enjoy the new ride!

Arrived today. Launch Edition with Visibility Pack (and a manual gearbox of course). We were going to wrap it, but now we've got it we're not sure that we will. Record Monza exhaust will go on the moment it's available. Looks stunning in the metal. Photos don't do it justice.

Just looked at the Launch Edition plaque, and of the 100 Australian LE cars, its No.1 of 100 :)

They all say 1 of 100 don't they? Makes the whole 100 the same 'value'

As opposed to 'number 1' and so on
Really? :(

I'll go you one better – regardless of numbering, I'd remove the plaque anyway. I don't like cluttery and distracting doodads and badges on cars. I'd order a new cubby door before the car ever came home. My cars always get de-badged on Day 1.
But aren't you concerned that when your children sell the car 50 years from now that it will significantly affect the value? :D

Hi from Melbourne also.
Picking up a White, manual 124 today. I had the bonnet and boot done by a wrap place, and paid for exhaust when they arrive.
Any idea when the Aussie exhausts will arrive? My dealer guessed the price as well, I bet they come in under..

Regards Steve

Hi Steve. Welcome to the Melbourne chapter. My wife, who works for AHG, says the Monza exhausts are due in Dec/Jan. Not going to be much change out of $2k though :(

Where in Melbourne are you?

A rough sketch...
That mock-up looks surprisingly great. I wasn't expecting to like it so much.

In any iteration, wrapped, badged, or just as it sits in the original pic, that car is a stunner!
