Hey everyone,

My name is Tim and I'm from Long Island. I absolutely cannot wait for the 124 to arrive here. I have an abarth on "pre-order". By pre-order i mean iput a deposit down and my dealer is spec'ing out one to my requests. I ordered it in bianco gelato white, I also opted for the alcantara recaro seats and brembo brakes with no stripe or luxury package.

My previous vehicle which I just sold was a 500 abarth, which unfortunately had to go to afford the 124. I have also owned a G35, S2000, and FRS, so it will be nice to get back to a RWD vehicle. The RWD is essentially what sold me on the 124 initially before any other information was released about it. The temptation of having the power and fun I had in the 500 in a RWD roadster was too much to resist.

With both the 500 vendors, and some of the miata vendors im sure, taking part in the aftermarket for this car, I cannot wait to see what will be achieved. I already have a bit of an idea of what will be happening from one fiat vendor, and with the in mind the car cannot get here soon enough.

Welcome to the forum!!

Like you, I have a history with "fast" RWD vehicles, but I've always preferred nimble cars over brutes. The Abarth 124 should be perfect, in that regard.

See you on the boards :)

New here too. Looking forward to see if I fit in one, and driving it. I'm favoring the manual trans Abarth. This color scheme will suit me just fine :)

Very likely the same scheme I'll go with... I've always had an affinity for grey cars. I just hope they allow us to get the red seats with grey mirrors... I'm not keen on the red mirrors and grille accents. But if I have to get them to get the seats, NBD as I can easily swap those items later

That looks really ideal. The red seats will definitely contrast everything beautifully. Can't wait to see what you guys do when you get your hands on em !

The other detail is that I work for Nissan, and those Nismo Jukes are all over Middle Tennessee. So, the Nismo package gives you your choice of three/four colors, and red mirrors/fascia stripe.

As silly as it sounds to suggest people would confuse them... society never ceases to amaze me with its ignorance :D

With that being said, I love the white/black/red Abarth 124... looks killer. I just can't bring myself to do it in such close proximity with all these Jukes around here. Hence why I gotta go grey/black/graphite accents.

I'm hoping someone comes out with carbon-fiber mirror covers and a nice, tasteful carbon diffuser panel in the rear. Once people start playing with the turbos, it wouldn't hurt to have a vented hood made from either CRP or true carbon fiber. Something along the lines of the SRT Viper (minus the front NACA duct) would flow nicely with the lines that are already on the 124 hood. The weight reduction would be an added bonus ;)

If you really love the white/black/red Abarth 124, I don't see why you shouldn't go for it even with all those Jukes driving around. Assuming that you'll be keeping the 124 for a while like me, I'd prefer to go for what I want and have to look at for a few years.

I do love it, but in full disclosure I've always had German cars (and I'm still flipping a coin between the Abarth 124 and a 2009-ish SLK55 AMG).

Grey fits me better, and isn't quite the cop magnet. This is useful when your right foot gets disproportionately heavy hahaha

I am leaning towards red. Here are my reasons in order of importance.

1. I like the way the car looks in red.
2. I just plain like the color red.
3. Red is the official racing color of Italy. Back in the days of Grand Prix racing, all competing Italian cars were red. British cars were green, French were blue, German cars were white or silver, American cars were white with blue stripes, and did I mention Italian cars were RED?

I also really like the Grey color, but wifey shot that down.

All great reasons! If the red was a racier "solid" red like Rosso Corsa, I'd be compelled to get red.

What I'd REALLY like to see is the classic Fiat/Ferrari color "Grigio Medio. With black accents, it would pop.
