Just got my 2018 124 Abarth last week, I absolutely love it!
73063

A couple of quick questions though:
1) The coolant temp seems to stay pretty low (like in the bottom quarter of the gauge), is this normal? I've never had a car run so cold before
2) The BSM stopped working suddenly, like it's not showing any of the cars around me regardless of having the turn signal on, I tried turning it off and back on again, but nothing, anyone have this issue? I think I might need to take it in, not that its really a big deal or anthing.

All in all excellent stuff on here, its nice to see there is a strong community of drivers/owners, it gives me some piece of mind!

My 2018 Abarth also appears to run "cold" but the performance is good as well as my average MPG which is around 30.8 (I do very little city driving) I think it is really more of a gauge calibration thing than actual temperature issue as the blue low coolant temp light goes out faster on warm days and less so on cold/cool days.
I have noticed that my BSM seems to be inconsistent - indicating vehicles as I'm overtaking them at times and other times not. I'd definitely take it in to establish the fact you have an issue so it gets in the system and then can later be dealt with if there is no current fix. Enjoy.

Awesome thanks for your help! Yeah I did a search and it seems to be normal, taking it next week to get the BSM checked, it worked fine when I got it, it just stopped working yesterday. The car is basically brand new with only 300 miles on it!

I had my BSM go out due to another issue caused by a faulty pedal box. Pulled the negative lead of the battery for 30 minutes and put it back on. It's worked fine ever since.

Yeah I tried the BSM button near the steering wheel on the left. The light came on on the dash to say it was disabled, then I tried turning it back on and still nothing

I just got mine and had the same issues. The temp is the same, so that's obviously normal. I turned the BS switch off, then turned it on, then turned the car off. When I started the car next, it worked normally. Not sure if that's helpful, but it worked for me. Good luck.

Yeah it seems to be ok now... I took it in just be sure and there was a low voltage warning come on when the hooked it up to an OBD reader, apparently they had disconnected the battery when it arrived and didn't clear the codes.

They cleared the codes and its all good now!
