I introduce myself. I bought a red 124 spider Lusso (exactly as the one showed in the picture together with its "old" brother) in August and I'm waiting for delivery (a very long time a I fear as in Spain the time for delivery is ca. 6 months!...). My two last cars have been an Opel Astra Cabrio and a VW EOS (both 4-seats convertibles, the former soft top and the latter hard top) and, finally I decided to go through a real spider. I had four candidates (MX5, Nissan 370Z, BMW Z4 and Fiat 124 spider....well, 5 if you consider the Abarth version) and after a lot of reading in Internet and a couple of driving tests I got in love with the 124 (European version, so 140 HP/manual gear) so here I am, looking forward to driving my new toy!

Hi,

You'll enjoy it when it arrives. Fun to drive. I have a white 124 spider Lusso Plus and it's great. Check your tyre pressures when it arrives as they are typically too high. Can't think of a nicer place to drive than in Spain because the car comes into its own when the roof is down. It does tend to attract a lot of dirt at the back under the boot so regular washes are a must to keep it looking good. You have chosen a great colour and I'm sure it will be great when you get it.

Thank you very much for your comments and sorry for the long time to answer. Looking forward to taking real picture and share it! Unfortunately, it will arrive in Winter so i'll be looking at weather forecasts for a nice day to enjoy...:laugh:
