Hi all, just joined the forum. Two weeks ago picked up a new 124 spider. The car is the 50th Anniversary Edition, limited to 124 models. All of these vehicles were sold before they reached the UK. Was interested but wouldn't buy a vehicle without first seeing it in the skin and reading some favourable test reports. Fortunately, I managed to get a cancelled order. Two weeks in and 700 miles, the car passes my personal sportscar test - it makes me smile.

Welcome to the forum and the UK branch. I am in South Wales and also have a cancelled order anniversary No 12. I have had mine since 7th Sept and still only done 300 miles! Danny

Thanks for the warm welcome. Responding to your queries. The Uk anniversary model is basically the lusso plus spec. All of these limited edition are painted 'passione red', with silver mirror covers and windscreen frame. There is an anniversary edition numbered plate, fixed to the door of the central storage compartment. Carnt remember my cars exact number, it's in the 50's. Soon as I got the car home I checked the fluid levels. All fine. The tyre pressures were all 32psi. I didn't adjust them. Sorry guys carnt upload pics at the moment. Looking forward to learning more about the car through this most useful source of information. For now, stay safe and keep your wheels turning.

The Anniversary is basically a Lusso Plus but without the reversing camera and without keyless entry, and only available in Passione Red with black leather interior. Whilst those two omissions makes the exterior lines a little cleaner (no camera lump above rear number plate, no black buttons on door handles) the only extras are the silver mirror covers, the red 124 badge in the front grille, and the numbered plaque. However, the mirror covers and 124 badge are available as accessories, so the plaque is the only truly unique feature and I think it's a real shame that Fiat didn't make it more exclusive with some unique paint colour options and unique interior features, etc.
