Just placed a deposit for one of the 124 anniversary editions

Congrats, 3 of the 4 dealers around here are not accepting deposits. the other one wants $2000 they have one person in line already, no documentation, just give you a receipt.

How did yours work.

Well, Just put my deposit down, with a local dealer, $1000 down, Im first in line they anticipate getting a first edition in June.

Congrats to the both of you. What kind of documentation did your dealership provide to hold your spot?

I got a receipt. and a verbal that I am first in line, which is probably worth the paper its written on. Thinking of sending my salesman a note and see if I can get something in writing. First dealer I contacted wanted $2k I would be second in line, also had no documentation, so it seems to be a fairly normal thing.
