Ok, so I’m retired with time on my hands, but I like making my car shine.
What does everyone recommend for products?
I’ve been using 303 on the top and Aero cosmetics was and wax and McGuires quick wax.

Hi @Tom C. , Sorry I took so long to post. This is what I use (old guy here too, this is what I've come to like):
Liquid Bottle Personal care Fluid Bottle cap
Left to right: Meguiar's Gold Class car wash - I do not use a wash/wax. Collinite #915 Carnauba Wax used as a long term wax job, very durable. Black Magic (used to be Westley's) Bleche-Wite to clean the brake dust and grime from tires, leaves tires black but not shiny. Clay Bar for cleaning off hard to remove stains/spots - any brand, Mother's, Meguiar's, etc. will do. P21S Carnauba wax, used for easy touch ups between the Collinite wax jobs, and P21S Paintwork Cleaner for cleaning up water spots, stains, etc. in conjunction with the clay bar and before Collinite wax jobs. Behind is a large genuine Chamois leather for drying - it is folded in half here, works great! Nothing for the top, but I gotta get whatever Haartz recommends I guess. Best, s

Thanks guys, Steve I would say you have got it covered. Never used the Nano Spray but have used the 303 protectant on my boat for years. What is the advantage of a thick wax (Collinite) as apposed to the liquid wax as in Nu Finish which I have been using. Just did the rag top with two coats of the Glym wash and waterproof kit. Letting it dry to check it out.

Hi @Kokanee , years and years ago I used a wax called "Classic Car Wax", a pure Carnauba that came in a black can. It was a thick paste wax and was very durable - compared to the liquid waxes I had used, lasted & beaded water much longer, similar to Blue Coral but easier to use. That is why I continue to use a paste wax. After the Classic Wax became hard to find I started using PRO Yellow Wax that I purchased from a guy that came around to the dealership selling reconditioning products. It was very good. Then, after the dealership changed suppliers, I experimented with several brands of Carnauba paste wax, found Collinite #915 and stuck with it. You can order it direct from Collinite (Google Collinite). I use the P21S for touching up in between full wax jobs ( like when I clay a bird s--t stain ) - a paste wax not as thick/heavy or durable as Collinite, but very easy to apply and has a nice shine. P21S is also available online. Hope this helps, Best, s

P.S.: for the top, Haartz ( the manufacturer of our convertible top fabric, as well as that of many other car manufacturers) recommends Raggtopp cleaner and Raggtopp protectant - available online through Amazon. s
