Perfect winter day for a drive through the California desert: Joshua Tree National Park, near Palm Springs. What a blast. Had the roads to myself. I was able to test some limits with the car until I saw a park ranger. If you haven't been to Joshua before, I recommend it. The rock formations are amazing.
Great pics for your trip in Joshua Tree National Park. You might give a report on how the Abarth handles in the heavy rain, because you are about to get a significant rain storm in that area tomorrow, Thursday morning (1/19/17).
Thanks. Yes, I entered the park on Pinto Basin and drove the entire distance, exiting in the town of Joshua Tree. I visited a number of camp sites, where you can get up-close to the huge granite boulders. Mid-week and off season is the way to visit these parks.
