I'd like to thank forum member Steve Villatoro for helping me out on this. Car due in 8 weeks to SoCal dealer. Fully loaded with Brembos. I want to trick it out to look like the EU version.

Snap (almost). Ours is the same spec in a manual. We're still deliberating on the blackouts. We were going to get them, but because they are not available in Australia yet (you have to get them done as an aftermarket wrap for now) it was delivered without them. Now we're thinking that we quite like it without them. Congrats on the car though. We've had ours for 4 days and it's a terrific little package.

Yes, I'll decide upon delivery about the blackouts, but I'm really considering an aftermarket wrap. The red accents are a must. Congrats to you!

Nice...congrats! That would have been our spec, but didn't want to wait the extra two months after already waiting since May. So we got black seats and no Brembos. If I ever get that inspired, I might get the Wilwoods. The wife said no to the blackouts...she didn't like them much. We're picking ours up tomorrow.

Now we need to find a source for red mirror caps and a red lower fascia lip.

Tomorrow? How exciting. I was considering the Wilwoods had I not been able to order the Brembos. Not only do I like the look of red brakes and the performance of sports brakes, but I like the idea of extra stopping power while driving in a sea of SUV's.

I've had a number of Brembo equipped cars, and I'd always tick them if they were in the option box. Choice is made for us in Aus. All 124s come with Brembos as standard equipment.

Agreed. Braking should always be more important than accelerating.

Definitely.. braking/steering/suspension are the key but obviously braking more so. No point having all that speed if you can't stop lol
