I also hit 800 after a few pulls, the average for daily driving is around 750. On the track it can get up to 900. This is on Tork Stage 1. I will check stock temps when I flash back next month. The 500 might be different in the way it measures or reports EGT. I think anyone who modifies their car should monitor the car’s vitals at all times, mods can really destroy cars.Can you explain this statement somewhat? Are you saying that your 500 w/ EC tune reached the allowable max temperature? How much is that allowable? Are you also saying that the Tork tune exhibits lower temperatures? Is it because of the tune or the methanol?
My car with stock factory tune reaches 800 C (1500 F) in just a couple of hard 3rd-gear pulls.
