I bought my Argento Aluminium Lusso two weeks ago. I love it. It's a huge upgrade from my 2006 Solstice. Since mine is a base Lusso, it didn't come with a nav sd card. Does anyone have an idea when they'll be available? The dealer doesn't know anything. I've emailed Mopar but I haven't received a response.

Check your window sticker. Mine has the Nav option and I found the SD card in the storage area between the seats. Also the cover for the SD card slot pulls out, not up.

I didn't see one but that's not to say the Mazda SD card won't work.

I just got word from my Fiat Studio that they can order the SD cards now. Price is $400.00.. Not sure i want to spend that much money on that little memory card. I think i will continue to use my phone for navigation.

I'm in Waco, Texas... I am waiting to hear how well the nav system works before I even think about shelling out 400 bucks. At one time I had heard that that nav system was kinda slow and rinky dink. I would rather see for myself. My dealer talked like they were going to order a few extras and since they have only sold 2 of those cars in my area, they should have extras.

I get the feeling that local retail folks don't have much hard info to work with yet. The parts mgr who quoted the $500 sd card said it apparently included 3 years of updates. I'm not sure we'll really know much about parts until there are some parts available in real time. I finally found the 12V power socket so I just have to pick a spot on the windshield glass for my Garmin when needed.

The card is $395. Just order it in the parts department. If you deal with service dept., they're going to charge you another $100 to install it (UNBELIEVABLE!!!!)

I don't have any prior experience with Fiat. But with other brands, parts prices have been at the discretion of the dealer. For one of the brands I've owned, all dealers in my entire region mark up parts well above MSRP. I can usually order the same parts from out-of-state dealers at a discount below MSRP.

The Nav in your phone is far better. I have the chip for our ND Miata, end up never using the navigation because it is just not very good. Bought a mount for the phone.

I'm with ya on that.. I use the heck out of Map Quest on my phone.. Gets me right where I need to go without even looking at it. I just wanted the nav on my car to work so I had something to look at.

Nav on the car for me will be a waste, but I think I'll be stuck getting it if I want the Bose system.

I'll probably lease the car and imagine the card will be one of the things inventoried at turn-in.
